Distro: fashion idealism

When fashion becomes part of someone's identity, creativity is becoming a requirement. People then trying to become different, be unique and want to show their own essence respectively. For this reason, global product is not the right choice for them who want to appear exclusively
and independently. Interest in needs to perform differently, uniquely and exclusively are also supported by the presence of distros.


Distro is stands for distribution outlet or Distribution Store which sells products from
various local clothing company's brands (company which manufacturing apparels under their own brand.)
Distro initially introduced by people who grew up in independent community. They wanted to make an exclusive street fashion and
reflect the original lifestyle of their community. Originally, the distro is becoming media to sell merchandises such as dress, wallet, shoes, eye glasses, and also albums for most local indie bands.



Most big distros started their bussiness from little capitals, big idealism and high struggling spirit. Because at that time, independent distribution were still something rare and there has been no concept of sales distribution. Now, distro becomes an alternative option for people who want to have exclusive fashion and reflect independences of their lifestyle. Distros are mostly selling not so many product for each design. Distros are not the same with "FOR" (Factory Outlet), because from idealism sight, concepts and products offer are actually different. This is why distro becomes more popular and still survive till now.
